Before and during your menstrual cycle, you might feel unbearable pain that others dismiss as normal menstrual cramps. Some women also experience postpartum depression after giving birth. This condition prevents you from doing the most basic tasks, such as getting out of bed.

Medical Cannabis is a medicine to cure all your health issues – click the button below!

Other discomforts include acne breakouts that affect your self-esteem and make it hard to explore the outdoors, as well as a prescription medication that only seems to make you feel worse. If you’re undergoing these and other problems, marijuana is the right solution. As a woman, you have several good reasons to invest in this continuously growing industry.

In this article, we’ll discuss the various benefits you stand to gain. They include:

Chapter One: Soothes Menstrual Pain

You already know how painful menstruation can get. Let’s discuss the process in detail:

The menstrual cycle begins at age 12 or 13 and ends when you’re around 50 years old. Over these 36 years, you’ll have more than 456 periods. That adds up to six years and three months. Being in acute pain for that long is unimaginable, but that’s what women go through.

Each woman has a different menstrual cycle, which counts day one of one period to the first day of the one that follows it. Menstrual flow lasts between two and seven days. For a long time, there’s been a lack of effective treatment to help you manage this painful period, but not anymore. The healing power of marijuana has been apparent since ancient times.

Medical Marijuana is a better therapeutic solution for this pain than other alternatives. Both history and science provide centuries of ample evidence that prove this plant’s miraculous ability to heal women. As far back as 2000 B.C., Persians were already using cannabis to treat various female illnesses.

An old Chinese book of remedies contains evidence of Marijuana therapy in treating menstrual disorders, malaria, constipation, and many other conditions. Ancient Egyptians also used cannabis as an essential treatment option for female ailments. Over time, news of its healing qualities spread to India, the Arab world, and Eastern Africa. England’s Queen Victoria was one of the most prominent users of marijuana. Physicians prescribed it to her as a treatment for period pains.

Scientific Effects of Medical Marijuana

Let’s dive into the scientific aspects of marijuana therapy. It might sound somewhat technical, but it will help you understand how cannabis affects your brain. Due to its complexity, the effects of marijuana vary from one individual to the next. Its chemical composition structure consists of:

  • THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol):

This part of marijuana is responsible for getting you “high.” Its medicinal benefits include chronic pain relief, reducing anxiety, and tackling insomnia. It also helps reduce nausea, as well as boost your appetite.

  • CBD (Cannabidiol):

CBD also helps with a variety of disorders. They include anxiety, acne, ADD, mood disorders, epilepsy, depression, and inflammation.

Knowledge of these components triggered the identification of the human body’s endocannabinoid system, which oversees various functions.

The female reproductive system holds the highest composition of endocannabinoid receptors. This reason is why marijuana has a significant effect on your menstrual cycle and its associated problems. It can help alleviate the following health issues before, during, and immediately after your periods:

  • Period Pain

This condition is one of the most significant discomforts and is caused by your monthly cramps. Other than twisting and turning, you might unsuccessfully try various home remedies in search of relief, including heat pads and your mum’s special turmeric recipe.

Stories abound of how our female ancestors would place baked bricks on their tummies to relieve the pain. This remedy was just one of several suggested solutions, which shows how much suffering women have undergone since the beginning of time.

What makes periods so painful?

During menstruation, the tissue and blood lining of your uterus breaks down, which causes bloating, inflammation, and a varying degree of pain. Your body expels this composition in the form of menstrual blood. This process lasts 4 to 8 days for most women.

At this point, marijuana steps in to save the day. One puff is enough to get rid of cramps. CBD relieves pain due to its influence over the reproductive system. Its anti-inflammatory properties also reduce bloating. CBD and THC products provide the best treatment options for menstrual pains.

  •  Mood Swings

During your menstrual cycle, you might get moody for no apparent reason. Do you sometimes cry over petty issues and throw tantrums only to wonder later why you reacted that way? When you experience such emotions, it means you’re about to start your periods, or they’re already underway.

You’re almost guaranteed to have mood swings because of low hormone levels, which results in feelings of agitation and irritation. You can lose your temper from random triggers such as loud sounds. This situation could affect your personal and professional relationships because no one enjoys interacting with a moody person.

A light dose of the right strain of marijuana not only calms your nerves but also keeps you happy as you go about your day. Your social circle won’t avoid you due to the fear of your mood swings.

Marijuana is your friend in the sense that it maintains your physical and mental health. Because your endocannabinoid system spreads throughout your body, THC and CBD can positively influence its psychological functions.

Other than making you nauseous, period pains can affect your entire body and make it hard to concentrate. You might have to take time off from school or work to deal with the agonizing pain. Marijuana’s reputation as a trusted fatigue reliever comes in handy.

Contact your nearest medical marijuana expert on the right strain to tackle the low morale that fatigue causes. Other effects of fatigue include slow reflexes, forgetfulness, incoherent train of thought, and reduced alert levels. You can reduce fatigue to nearly 50% by inhaling some medical marijuana. It also helps you sleep by calming your nervous system, which further reduces your exhaustion.

Chapter Two: Helps You Tackle Menopause

Apart from childbirth, menopause causes some of the most dramatic physical and mental changes to a woman’s body. These can cause depression in some women. Ironically, you still experience painful menstrual cramps, even though you no longer have menstrual cycles. How is that possible?

Because your body no longer produces estrogen, you run the risk of osteoporosis after menopause. This condition weakens bones, which makes you more likely to suffer unexpected fractures. Marijuana reduces the pain and trauma associated with this experience. Menopause occurs in three key stages:

  • Perimenopause: Irregular menstrual cycles mark the beginning of this phase, which starts in your late 40s. Although you might experience symptoms such as flushes, you can still get pregnant.
  • Menopause: Your last period officially marks the beginning of menopause. Symptoms include sleep disorders, hot flashes, and vaginal dryness.
  • Postmenopause: It begins once you go a whole year without having periods. You become postmenopausal for the rest of your life.

Menopause is a trying moment for all women due to the pain and confusion it causes. Marijuana can help you cope with this new turn of events, which would otherwise take a mental and physical toll on your body. Other than reversing bone loss, it helps reduce the weight gain that inevitably occurs during menopause. It also helps in tackling insomnia by calming racing thoughts. Marijuana is a natural muscle relaxant, so it should help you sleep better.

  • Hot Flushes

Hot flushes are the most common symptoms of menopause. They occur as a sudden rise in your body temperature, which might cause your face, neck, and chest to turn red. If you’re over 40 years old, you might find yourself waking up at night feeling sweaty without a valid reason. This development could be a sign that menopause is approaching. Around 70% of women experience night sweats and hot flushes during this period. This situation makes it a significant problem that we should address for the sake of all females across the world.

In about 80% of these cases, these unsettling symptoms occur for more than a year or two. Thanks to medical marijuana, you don’t have to suffer in silence. According to research, it has a cooling effect that lowers body temperature. Hot flushes occur unexpectedly during menopause due to extreme hormonal changes. This situation can be frustrating, especially if it happens in public, and you feel powerless to control it. The fast-acting nature of marijuana not only cools you down immediately but also helps you sleep more soundly during this agonizing period.

cannabis for women's health

  • Osteoporosis

After menopause, your body stops producing estrogen, which causes bones to become weaker. You might start feeling some pain in the knees and joints that doesn’t seem to go away, no matter how much medication and exercise your physician prescribes. One surprising benefit of marijuana is the ability to reduce the advance and effects of osteoporosis. It prevents your bones from becoming weak and brittle, as well as eroding. Menopause also has the effect of lowering your bone density.

Cannabis helps by increasing the production of certain bone-forming elements, which results in bone tissues of a higher quality and quantity. It also plays a significant role in relieving joint pain and healing bone fractures. Marijuana’s anti-inflammatory properties reduce the possibility of bone damage. That means you don’t have to undergo expensive and painful procedures such as knee replacement surgery. Cannabis allows you to go through menopause more smoothly than you usually would.

  • Weight Gain

Are you wondering why you’re rapidly gaining weight as you approach your 50s? The main reason is menopause and the various unforeseen disruptions it causes in your body. Menopausal hormone changes result in weight gain around the tummy, hips, and thighs. This situation provides an opportunity for other health complications. They include diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory problems. Luckily, marijuana can help you tackle these challenges.

It does so by boosting your metabolism, which is key to burning body fat. Weight gain can cause most women to experience depression because they’re caught unawares by the drastic internal and external changes to their bodies. Science also supports the weight-reducing effects of cannabis. According to a study done by the International Journal of Epidemiology in 2019, marijuana users were less prone to weight gain than non-users.

Other than immense weight gain, a reduction in estrogen levels can result in weak bones and insomnia. Marijuana manages your blood pressure, which reduces the chances of suffering from other health conditions that are associated with obesity. A small dosage of this miraculous herb is enough to make this transition process bearable for women across the world.

Chapter Three: Helps Fight Depression

Depression manifests itself in various ways. You might find it hard to get out of bed, interact with people in your social circle, and connect with your spouse and kids. Some people put on an influential act in public but cry in private. You might also feel like a stranger in your own home and experience the energy draining from your body as the days pass.

Unfortunately, you might be among the 15 million U.S. citizens who suffer from depression. According to statistics, women are twice as likely as men to have this disorder. If that’s the case, there’s no need to panic. You can free yourself from the tight grip of this disorder that prevents you from enjoying the activities that you once found pleasurable.

Medical cannabis can keep your mental health at an optimum level – click the button below to have your MMJ Card now!

Why Does Depression Affect More Women Than Men?

Women undergo hormonal changes throughout their lives. These situations include childbirth, infertility, menopause, and various genetic conditions. They make you more prone to depression, anxiety, sadness, and a feeling of being burdened. Social factors also contribute to depression in women. They include work-related stress, family responsibilities, societal expectations, poverty, and higher rates of sexual abuse.

Marijuana provides a convenient treatment option in such circumstances. It uplifts you when you feel like your world is falling apart. You must remain hopeful that you’re not fighting alone, and you can get help whenever you need it.

Other than stabilizing your mood, cannabis helps you accept your circumstances and gives you the confidence to try and change them. It injects a desire for life by relieving anxiety and stress. According to studies, a single puff of marijuana is enough to relax you. Its therapeutic properties help you focus, fight restlessness, and control your functionality.

  • Negative Body Image

Have you ever come across this phrase? If not, allow us to explain in detail. Body image refers to a psychological phenomenon that determines how you perceive your own body. A distorted body image can cause you to feel like you don’t belong in your body, which ultimately triggers depression.

This condition affects women more than men because they pay closer attention to their bodies. They’re therefore more likely to be unhappy with how they look. If you’ve been through bullying that made you feel either too fat or skinny, it could have a massive toll on your self-confidence and overall personality.

Once you begin hating yourself, your mental health will suffer as well. Body image and depression are tightly interlinked. Despite what society tells you, growing old is a normal process throughout life. It involves having wrinkles and laugh lines. Freckles are attractive, as are both short and tall figures. Yet all these body diversities make most people insecure.

In extreme circumstances, these insecurities result in a mental condition commonly referred to as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Marijuana provides some much-needed hope. It helps you snap out of this self-defeating attitude before the condition gets worse. By calming your nerves, cannabis prevents anxiety, overthinking, and other mental issues.

As mentioned earlier, it also helps you shed any weight you might have gained due to a delicious thanksgiving dinner or other special occasions you couldn’t miss. Marijuana ultimately helps build your self-esteem. It makes you more assertive, which allows you to walk confidently with your head held high.

  • Postpartum Depression

Childbirth is one of the most natural and joyful processes that parents experience. As miraculous as it is, though, it also causes depression for millions of mothers around the world. As a new mother, you might feel unattached to your newborn child. This situation is made worse by sleepless nights and a persistent feeling that you’re doing it wrong. This despair is known as postpartum depression.

postpartum depression

The majority of the women goes through depression after a baby’s birth in the U.S

Reliable statistics place the number of women who experience it at around 70 to 80 percent. Its signs and symptoms include self-doubt, mood swings, anxiety, migraines, and depression. There are various other pointers to look out for in its diagnosis.

You’re required to stay awake for several nights as you soothe your newborn. These erratic sleep patterns might lead to insomnia. You might also find it hard to cope with the new changes to your body. Stretch marks and weight gain make you feel a disconnect with your ideal body.

The unwanted effects don’t end there. Other signs of postpartum depression include withdrawal from friends and family, the feeling that you’re not a good mother, excessive crying, and a sense of being worthless.

If you happen to experience these emotions, don’t hide from the world. Don’t reflexively reach for antidepressants, as they can have more harmful side effects than the condition they’re supposed to treat. In such instances, you need a natural remedy that will calm your nerves and completely get rid of your anxiety and depression. Medical Marijuana offers these therapeutic results. It does so through its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties, which ensure you’re at blissful peace.

If your doctor has already diagnosed you with postpartum depression, you need the right dose of medical marijuana to help you fight it. So long as you’re not breastfeeding, it will help clear the symptoms discussed above. Cannabis also tackles insomnia through its calming effect. A good night’s sleep is beneficial for both you and your baby because motherhood means you must be alert at all times. Various studies show that women suffering from postpartum depression consider marijuana as their savior during such trying times.

You’re probably coming across this term for the first time. Not to worry, we’ll discuss it in greater detail. It’s a condition that you or someone you know might have. Dysthymia refers to a gentle type of depression that shows recurring effects on your health. That’s why it’s also called “Persistent Depressive Disorder.” Unfortunately, it shows greater persistence in women than men.

Are you feeling fatigued, short-tempered, and hopeless but can’t identify the reason for your pessimism? Have you experienced this vicious cycle for years? If the answer is yes, then you probably have this mild depression that sneaks up on you once in a while. Other than affecting your social life, it might prompt you to either overeat or starve yourself.

Marijuana is the right treatment for this condition. Its effectiveness is caused by the stress-suppressing endocannabinoids that make up its composition. It also boosts your appetite if you happen to lose it due to the agony you persistently feel. Your body’s hormonal imbalance can cause you to be upbeat one moment and sharply make you feel low the next minute. Marijuana is a potent regulator of mood swings, which results in a more cheerful personality.

Chapter Four: A Remedy for Endometriosis

The complexity of women’s bodies doesn’t come as a surprise. It causes several health issues, one of which is Endometriosis. It’s an often-painful disorder that gets its name from the endometrium, the tissue that usually lines the internal part of your uterus. The condition occurs when similar tissue starts growing outside the womb.

Endometriosis ordinarily involves the tissues around your ovaries, pelvis, and fallopian tubes. It can cause several complications for women. These can, in turn, affect your professional life, as well as your relationship with your spouse, children, and friends.

Unfortunately, it can also make you infertile, a development that will have a lifelong psychological effect. Diverse factors cause Endometriosis, including genetics, a weak immune system, and retrograde menstruation.

According to reliable statistics, close to 11% of American women have this condition. Their ages range from 15 to 49 years. It’s not all doom and gloom, though, as science is always ready with a solution.

A new study conducted by Spanish researchers has changed the world’s perception of marijuana. Other than reducing Endometriosis, they’ve discovered that cannabis also prevents the growth of uterine cysts.

It stops the excruciating pain associated with the illness, as well as the accompanying anxiety. Marijuana can help manage extreme menstrual cramps by ensuring a regular flow. Furthermore, it can desensitize the nerves responsible for transmitting pain. It prevents cells from migrating to other parts of the body, therefore containing the problem.

Marijuana is also known to modulate your immune response, which ensures your body remains strong to fight off threats. It controls the signs and symptoms of Endometriosis, which include:

  • Abdominal Pain

Normal periods hurt. Imagine how painful it gets when the uterine lining gets stuck to other body organs and fails to find a way out of the body. The discomfort is excruciating! If you’re experiencing more pain than usual with increased menstrual blood every month, it’s advisable to visit a gynecologist for a thorough exam. If the results show you have Endometriosis, there’s no need for alarm.

You can always count on marijuana to help you overcome this unexpected diagnosis. Scientific evidence shows that cannabis halts the spread of cancerous endometrial lesions. The stress caused by Endometriosis on your tummy is severe enough to have you holding on to it for days on end.

Even the tiniest dosage of marijuana can instantly lift the pressure from your abdomen and back. THC deactivates the pain-activating nerves of the endometrial cells, while CBD is responsible for numbing pain receptors.

You don’t have to grab medication that comes with a long list of adverse effects to feel better. Just contact your trusted marijuana doctor for a batch that will get rid of the agony of Endometriosis.

cannabis for constipation

Cannabis can provide relief from constipation and other digestive issues

  •  Diarrhea/Constipation

All of us have been victims of unwanted stomach problems. When you’re already in excruciating pain due to a uterus lining that’s growing where it shouldn’t, it becomes even more acute.

Unfortunately, Endometriosis has a host of unwanted and punishing symptoms, including irritable bowel movements. Diarrhea and constipation can happen without warning, thereby resulting in a sudden disruption of your daily activities.

These conditions prevent you from eating your favorite foods. Diarrhea expels water faster than you take it in, while constipation can cause bleeding, among other serious health issues. They also force you to stay indoors because you can’t risk going out while experiencing such unpredictability.

Marijuana saves you from the humiliation of rushing to the toilets every other time. What is the scientific explanation behind this remedy? Among the many health benefits of marijuana include the discovery of the power of cannabinoids to manage bowel movements, as well as control constipation and diarrhea. It also relaxes contractions in your intestines’ smooth muscles.

That’s not it. One of marijuana’s most astonishing effects is the ability of endocannabinoids to regulate your body’s gastrointestinal fluids. This benefit, together with its anti-inflammatory properties, is vital to stopping ulcers and other digestive disorders.

  • Bladder Issues

Can it get any worse? The worst form of Endometriosis spreads to your intestines and legs. This condition can result in swelling and myalgia, which refers to pain in a group of muscles or muscle tissues. Some of its effects include muscle fatigue and painful menstrual cycles. It also interrupts your day to day activities and can get worse over time.

You can tell that the situation has deteriorated by answering the following questions:

  • Do you experience frequent urges to urinate or feel a burning sensation when doing so?
  • Is the color of your urine dark or bloody?
  • Do you feel persistent pressure in your back or lower abdomen?

If the answer to most or all of them is yes, you might be in the worst stage of Endometriosis. On the bright side, cannabis can cure your discomfort!

Since cannabinoid receptors line your bladder, they can influence it for the better. Marijuana decreases inflammation that’s caused by your uterus lining, which stops the proliferation of cells. It also prevents the takeover of tissues in your intestines, which prevents the passage of urine. According to scientific studies, marijuana not only makes your bladder healthier but also gets rid of any diseases in it.

  • Combats Cancer

Have you ever imagined a world without cancer? Although research is still ongoing, scientists at the South African Northwest University found promising results. Other than slowing the spread of cancerous cells in the lab, marijuana also kills them!

This plant has the potential to manage a chronic condition that claims the lives of millions around the world. If put to good use, its anti-cancer and anti-seizure properties could offer uncountable benefits.

In 2016, 22% of all deaths in the U.S. were attributable to cancer, which made it one of the most substantial causes. Cancer doesn’t discriminate by color, race, age, gender, occupation, or religion. It affects children, adults, and seniors in the same way, often with fatal results.

Chances are, either you or someone you know is among the 4,800 people who get a cancer diagnosis in America daily. Although chemotherapy is effective at treating several types of cancer, it also has many nasty side effects.

Can marijuana cure cancer?

Radiation kills cancerous cells but also leaves a permanent mark on your body. With every passing day, new types of cancer arise. With the scare at an all-time high, researchers have been busy studying how marijuana can target your nerves to relieve pain.

After chemotherapy, you can control inevitable nausea with a small dose of cannabis. Neuropathic pain is caused by nerve damage that results from the killing of cancerous cells during chemotherapy. Marijuana hampers neuropathy because it’s an anti-inflammatory, neuro-generator, analgesic, and neuroprotector.

Its miraculous effects appear in several types of cancer. Marijuana reduces the life of tumor cells by half in lung, ovarian, breast, and bone cancer.

  • Ovarian Cancer

Let’s cover some common facts about this type of cancer:

Statistics from the American Cancer Society show that 1 in nearly 80 women are prone to this particular cancer during their lifetime. Older women are also susceptible. It starts in the ovaries that are responsible for egg production. Its main symptoms include nausea, fatigue, irritable bowels, weight loss, abdominal pain, and feeling full after eating a tiny amount of food.

In the unfortunate event that you’re suffering from this gut-wrenching illness, chemotherapy has likely weakened you substantially. Medical Marijuana is a practical, natural alternative to tackle all these symptoms. According to researchers, THC and its associated agents have cancer-fighting receptors. They also have various roles in certain biological functions, such as anxiety and pain control, and anti-inflammation.

  • Breast Cancer

Are you seeing your loved ones suffering through cancer? This terrible situation can be a depressing experience for both the patient and their family. The United States will have an estimated 276,480 new breast cancer cases in 2020 alone. It’s the most diagnosed cancer for women after skin cancer.

As of January 2020, America has more than 3.5 million women with a history of this particular form of cancer. Symptoms include: feeling a lump on your breast that didn’t exist before. They might also appear as abnormal, round, and soft bumps that make your breasts swell.

Diagnosis is a simple step compared to the treatment options. Surgery and chemotherapy trigger a host of other symptoms that prescribed medicines can’t conclusively treat. Frequent effects of chemotherapy include tummy aches, headaches, vomiting and nausea, blood conditions, diarrhea and constipation, neuropathy, and sores in your nose and throat.

If you’re experiencing these effects, you don’t have to suffer in silence. Researchers present medical marijuana as a viable alternative treatment. It’s most prominent benefits are the ability to slow the spread of breast cancer at an affordable cost compared to other therapies.

Chemotherapy also causes a lot of changes to your appetite because it targets a large part of your digestive system. It takes away your desire for, as well as the taste of food. Marijuana helps stimulate your appetite and make it easier to eat, which boosts your treatment outcome.

Chapter Five: Clears Skin Diseases

Truthfully speaking, no one enjoys having big zits or even one pimple on their forehead, let alone the entire face. Acne affects an estimated 40 to 50 million Americans of varying age groups, genders, and other demographics. Thankfully, the skincare industry is becoming more aware of the benefits of marijuana.

skin treatment with cbd oil

Your skin can glow with the use of CBD Oil as it has multiple benefits

Lotions, oils, creams, and facial products like mascara contain specific concentrations of CBD because of its cell-generative features. Skin disorders in the U.S. have a heavy burden on their victims. They include acne, eczema, hives, rosacea, psoriasis, keratosis pilaris, and melanoma.

Let’s study the facts in greater detail. A study by the American Academy of Dermatology states that skin diseases affect over 85 million Americans. This vast number shows that skin disorders aren’t conditions that we can wish away. Most appear after you reach puberty.

They don’t discriminate by gender or age. It’s also not uncommon for people to suffer from more than one skin disease. Not to worry, though. Marijuana has the right solutions to your recurring skin issues. There’s ample evidence of its ability to reduce skin inflammation. That’s due to the many chemical compounds it produces, the most popular of which are THC and CBD.

Other than their anti-inflammatory properties, topical medical marijuana is effective at eliminating rashes and dryness that make your skin itchy. This success makes it the ideal treatment option for a variety of skin disorders.

As many as 7.5 million Americans have psoriasis. This skin condition appears as red and flaky patches on many parts of your body. Studies show that marijuana not only halts the production and growth of immature cells but also cures the wounds that psoriasis leaves behind.

Cannabis is also a remedy for eczema, a disorder that tends to make your skin bumpy and easily peel off. By helping in the treatment of such conditions, marijuana creates a cooling effect on your body. It also makes the skin better armed to defend against viral, fungal, and bacterial infections.

Medical Cannabis is becoming more common as it has numerous health benefits – click the button below!

As the largest organ in your body, your skin protects the body against several threats. Marijuana treatments give it the strength to overcome diseases. Apart from fighting skin inflammation, cannabis helps the skin overcome swelling, redness, blistering, itchiness, peeling, and ulcerations.

Chapter Six: Improves Intimacy

How does marijuana make things better in the bedroom?

As a female, your body undergoes several changes in the course of your life. Sometimes you feel good about your body, but other times feel low. You also experience mood swings that either make you want to go out and explore or just stay at home doing nothing.

These variations are a result of a series of hormonal changes and imbalances that have a significant influence on your lifestyle. That’s where marijuana steps in to spice up your life.

Are you or someone close feeling anxious about low libido that affects intimacy with your partner? If you want to work towards restoring and even making your bedroom adventures better, marijuana is your remedy of choice.

Studies show that it’s good for relationships. Couples that use cannabis are less likely to argue or fight. It also lightens the atmosphere in the bedroom, which improves the mental and physical intimacy between you and your spouse. This enhanced stimulation creates positive vibes for every other aspect of your life.

The Medical Daily refers to marijuana as nature’s Xanax due to its anti-anxiety properties. It also has a long history as a natural aphrodisiac that boosts intimacy in relationships.

Cannabis can create a healthy and happy lifestyle by calming your nerves. This relaxing feeling prevents you from being offended by frustrations that inevitably occur with a busy lifestyle. You also get to enjoy more intimate moments with friends and family.

Let Marijuana Turn Your Life Around

Cannabis can genuinely change your life due to its pain-relieving, anxiety-fighting, and general therapeutic properties. You can smoke it, vaporize, or take it as an oil. It’s also available as sweet edibles such as cakes, chocolates, gummy bears, beverages, and more. If you’re interested in medicinal marijuana, you should be aware of the following questions and answers:

Who can purchase it?

According to the law, you must be 18 and above to acquire, use, or own medicinal marijuana. You must never share cannabis with minors because it’s a criminal offense. Before buying your favorite strain, you’ll need to show I.D. proof; otherwise, the seller will decline your request.

How can you purchase it?

The very first step is an evaluation by a certified doctor, who determines whether you meet the criteria for receiving a marijuana card. This step is essential because it differentiates you from non-regulated users, who could still be considered criminals.

After your medical examination, approach the authorities to inform them that you are a patient who needs medical marijuana. Next, register through your state or country’s online marijuana portal. Once you obtain your cannabis card, you’re free to visit a registered dispensary that sells marijuana. The final step is to buy according to your doctor’s prescription.

Where can you use it?

Several states have either legalized marijuana or are in the process of doing so. They include Connecticut, Maryland, Puerto Rico, New York, Montana, Florida, Arizona, among others. You can try edibles, oils, and topical marijuana ointments as remedies for your medical conditions. Since smoking provides instant results, you can either vape or use CBD inhalers.

Conclusion

Women account for half of the world’s population. It doesn’t come as a surprise that they can influence the lifestyles of their family and friends with their opinions on various topics.

Modern women are more interested in non-toxic, organic, and plant-based solutions to their health problems. Marijuana has been around for centuries, during which time it’s been a viable alternative treatment. There’s a high possibility that it benefits women more than men. Let’s touch on that for a moment. As a female, your reproductive system contains the highest number of endocannabinoid receptors after the brain. That means women are significantly more responsive to marijuana’s medicinal properties. Although it’s not a gender-biased remedy, women are increasingly experimenting with its potential.

Various organizations are also at the forefront of advocating for its benefits to women. They include Women Grow, which was founded in 2014, and Miss Grass. Due to vigorous activism, marijuana is now legal in nearly 33 of 50 U.S. states, with more adopting a lenient approach to it.

As its benefits keep becoming apparent, cannabis is becoming less controversial and fast gaining mainstream acceptance. This situation is beneficial for women since most of their health issues are usually ignored and not discussed openly. They need help and support for their physical and mental initiatives. Marijuana plays a vital role in this regard because it regulates their immune system, which helps in managing their mental and bodily needs.

Women can lead better lives due to its endless health benefits. Marijuana reduces the trauma associated with painful experiences and improves your overall lifestyle to an ideal and exemplary one.

Simply put, hemp is designated by a man-made definition of THC levels at or below 0.3%. Marijuana is always harvested from female plants and typically has high THC levels with little to no CBD, although some strains can contain verifying levels of CBD/THC ratios. Hemp has over 10,000 known uses, which can be made from both the female or male plant depending on the desired product. Mana Artisan Botanics uses only female hemp plants in our products, with lab testing guaranteeing below 0.3% THC levels.

Hemp extract is the phytocannabinoid concentrate, created through some form of extraction process, most commonly either with supercritical carbon dioxide or ethanol. The extract’s potency will depend on the levels of cannabinoids in the plant, so each batch of extract will have different levels of cannabinoids.

Why should you care where your hemp is sourced from?

The demand for hemp extracts is rapidly increasing in the U.S. However, there is still limited supply of U.S.-grown hemp, resulting in high prices that cannot compete against imported hemp extract from places like China or Eastern Europe. Consumers seeking quality products may find a lack of transparency when it comes to the origin of the hemp extract in their products. And unfortunately, there is limited data behind the volume and quality control behind these imported hemp extracts.

At Mana Artisan Botanics, we take great care to source high-quality hemp that is grown in the U.S., with the specific intention to facilitate health and wellness.

Do hemp cultivation methods matter?

In the cannabis industry much of what is grown, unless it is organic, is sprayed with varying levels of pesticides and fungicides. Most consumers don’t realize this is a common practice. Given the increasing demand for hemp and cannabis, many conventional farmers are transitioning their fields to these high value crops. Yet, hemp’s cultivation environment is critical as it can act as a bio-remediation crop, absorbing contaminants from the soil while it grows. If the hemp was grown in poor or misused soil, that plant might contain toxins you won’t want to ingest.

This is why at Mana Artisan Botanics, we source our CBD-rich hemp extract only from farms that have never had any toxic agriculture on the land or use any harmful pesticides or fungicides. All our products are purity and potency tested at multiple lab facilities such as Steep Hill Labs Hawaii and Hawaii Pharm Labs for cannabinoid levels as well as pesticide residue, heavy metals and other contaminants. State of the art testing methods are used and THC levels are guaranteed to be under the federal limit of 0.3%. If you want to review the lab results, please contact us!

Do different hemp strains deliver varying results?

Many of the hemp products on the market derive their CBDs as a by-product from other types of hemp varieties such as fiber or seed for hemp food products. The levels of CBD-rich hemp extract in these products are lower and lack the diverse spectrum of cannabinoids one would ideally want for an “entourage effect” that delivers the possible synergies made available by whole plant therapies.

At Mana Artisan Botanics, the hemp we source is grown with great care to facilitate high levels of the non-psychoactive cannabinoids.

What is the entourage effect?

The “entourage effect” or “plant synergy” is the idea that cannabinoids, terpenoids and flavonoids in cannabis interact synergistically to magnify the therapeutic benefits of the plant’s individual components—so that the medicinal impact of the whole plant is greater than the sum of its parts.

Are whole plant extracts superior to single-compound alternatives?

Do you know the difference between isolates and whole plant extracts? “Whole plant extract” has a wide range of cannabinoids. Most scientists agree that there is between 80-120 cannabinoids plus additional terpenes, in addition to the better know CBD and THC compounds. With a “whole plant” extract you are getting access to the much wider spectrum of cannabinoids in your hemp infusion for that entourage effect.Isolates are not known to be effective as a whole plant extracts for that very reason. Additionally, isolates can be over processed, sometimes with added chemicals for purification.

Mana Artisan Botanics uses “whole plant extracts” only, with full range of cannabinoids making our infusions superior to single-compound alternatives.

Why does Mana Artisan Botanics include Turmeric in our hemp infusions?

Curcumin, the yellow pigment of turmeric (Curcuma longa) is one of the most intensely researched natural products available today. With over 6,000 peer-reviewed studies, including clinical and scientific research, turmeric is shown to have powerful anti-inflammatory effects. We add turmeric in our hemp infusions to further augment the anti-inflammatory effects of cannabinoids.

Why does Mana Artisan Botanics include Passionflower in our Hawaiian Sleep Hemp Tincture?

Passionflower extract has been shown in studies to be helpful for relieving general anxiety and improving sleep quality. We add passionflower in our sleep hemp tincture to further augment the anti-anxiety effects of cannabinoids.
